Barrier-free Sport
Sport gets people moving, improves physical and mental well-being, promotes togetherness and mobility, strengthens self-confidence and, above all, is a lot of fun. The love of sport unites people of all ages, genders, cultures, religions, with or without physical disabilities. Tenerife Top Training celebrates sport, and it is essential to us that all visitors feel comfortable! For us, inclusion is the claim to enable the self-determined, equal and equal participation of people with and without disabilities in and through sport. Sport, exercise and play are particularly suitable for promoting mutual acquaintance and cooperation between people with and without disabilities, for anchoring the idea of equal, self-determined participation in people’s minds and for strengthening people with disabilities in our society. Therefore, our facility is an almost 100% barrier-free training facility for wheelchair users and people with walking disabilities.

- The clear and plain layout of the facility with a high-contrast design for visually impaired or hearing disabilities guests as well as guests with cognitive impairment
Service alongside your Training
The majority of all entrances are easily accessible. The entries to the swimming pools are at ground level, as are the entries to our fitness studios, football pitches and access to a tennis court and two padel courts.
We are happy to assist you with a mobile passenger lift, which makes it easier for you to enter our swimming pools, on request. Our showers and sanitary facilities are of course also barrier-free. A rental wheelchair is available on request.
Comprehensive support during the training camp is a matter of course for Tenerife Top Training. Transfer service from the airport to the hotel and the training centre is organised on request. The arrangement of rental cars and excursions is also part of the service. Our partner hotel, “Hovima Jardín Caleta”, is only 1.2 km away from the T3 and offers individual catering and four handicapped-accessible rooms.
Free-to-use massage rooms are also available.
In addition, it is possible to book a diving course, specifically adapted to the needs of customers with physical or mental impairments.
Among other things, Tenerife Top Training organises competitions in disability sports, such as the Open Tenerife Fundacion Disa. Numerous athletes with disabilities have already been guests at T3. For example, the Paralympic swimming teams from Finland, Russia, Spain and Mexico, and numerous athletes from other sports such as judo, sitting volleyball and athletics
