LLS and the Steven Gerrard Academy in the amazing facilities of Tenerife Top Training (T3)
After over a decade of success in the UK and the Middle East, LLS was launched here in Tenerife in 2021. The program became the first multi-sport course offered to students in the Canary Islands.
Featuring practical and theoretical sessions each week, the course is constantly evolving to ensure that the LLS program helps students progress towards university or secure a career in the sports industry.
With the unique location of the course, access to world-class facilities, and a pathway to sports, there are only a limited number of spots available each year for both Tenerife residents and international applicants.
Successful applicants are taught by our qualified teachers three days a week at the world-leading T3 facility. Thanks to strategic partnerships with local schools and sports clubs, all students have their own enrichment timetable that provides a minimum of two days per week of work experience or additional elite-level training (relevant to student athletes).

- Availability: For students who have completed school and are 16 years old or above.
- Study: Full-time study to obtain an extended international BTEC Level 3 diploma in sports, fitness, and coaching.
- Work Experience: Enjoy weekly work experience at local schools, sports clubs, gyms, and sports centers.
- Educational Approach: Combines theory with innovative practical lessons.
- Internationalization: Experience international trips and learning exchanges. Access to Pathways: To universities in Spain, the UK, and the US.
- Job Opportunities: Paid coaching positions abroad.
QUALIFICATIONS
BTEC Level 3 International Extended Diploma in Sport, Development, Coaching and Fitness. This course is equivalent to 3 A-Levels, as well as the Baccalaureate and Intermediate Cycle. The qualification taught at Tenerife Top Training enables students to develop their knowledge in a wide range of areas within the global sports industry. Young people can expect to learn about topics from sports business and marketing, to physiology and anatomy. In addition, students will continually develop their skill set in coaching and sports leadership.
WORK EXPERIENCE
You can volunteer on a weekly basis in an environment where you would like to work in the future, such as: high-level elite sports facilities and organisations and state-of-the-art private gyms.
